It makes me sad when professional athletes use their strengths in the wrong way. But that's exactly what happened on the night AC Milan and Tottenham clashed last week for a Champion's league knock out match. Genaro Gattuso, (33) a respected footballer, unleashed his anger for his team's poor performance towards Tottenham coach Harry Redknapp by slapping in the face. This sort of behavior does not impress me nor did impress FIFA. Gattuso will be facing consequences for his action.
I agree with you and think that athletes should think more about their actions, especially since so many are watching them. I think that sometimes professional athletes can get big heads which makes them think they can get away with anything. It is important that athletes set a good example for younger generations, especially those that plan on going into professional sports. I really appreciate that you posted this because it helps show that even though a person may be an amazing athlete, does not mean that he or she can mistreat people. Thanks for your post!
